Mike O'Brian for the Ride Home
Weekday Afternoons 3p-7p

This is basically me going a little crazy...having a little fun with a video camera.   This is the stuff you can only see when I'm Off The Mic.

I wanted to make something special for my kids.  A CD that would captivate them and take them away from the TV.  This is "The Barn" as featured in the May issue of San Diego Magazine.  It's the kid's CD that Randy Cox, Steve Poltz and I created.  Click Here to check it out!

Pretty Girl - Stupid Boy
Saturday 08-16-2008 3:21pm PT

Was in Nashville for a couple of days this week and on Thursday night Sarah Buxton (she's on the same record label as rascal flatts and wrote "stupid boy" for Keith Urban) and I cruised over to the Bluebird Cafe to hear legendary songwriter Chuck Cannon (His CD "God Shaped Hole" is unreal).  He invited Sarah up on stage to do "Stupid Boy" which of course she knocked out of the park! Not sure why we are posing like Madonna.  Anyway Sarah has a new song on her myspace page (google it) called "Space".  It is AMAZING!!!!!  Remember her name.  She has one of the coolest voices in Nashville and hello! Girl can strike a pose!
Don't Wake Me If I'm Dreaming

So, by now you know that the greatest most awesome place to eat in the entire world IS Fazolis, well today I happen to be in Ontario, CA (dang, this city's ugly) and guess what I found?????? A Fazolis.

Me eating some yummy Lasagna...oh and the breadsticks.  Holy Cow!!!!!!!  In lieu of me finding a Fazolis I may not be on the air for the next couple of days.  You also may need to send a bus to come get me as I may not be able to fit in my car in a couple of days.
Madison Square Taylor
Monday 08-11-2008 2:06pm PT

So, our buddy Taylor Swift made a surprise performance on stage with the Jonas Brothers this weekend at Madison Square Garden in New York City (she's been dating one of them).  She hopped up on stage and knocked out "Should've Said No" and my buddy who was at the show said the crowd went nuts for her.  Man, it's hard to believe it's only been 2 years since a then 16 year old Taylor played a couple of songs for us in our conference room.  From our conference room to Madison Square Garden :)  What a ride!!!!!
